Live from Tent City on the set of the Megawords installation
I'm sitting in a lawn chair in the yard of the Powell house, amidst what will soon be a completely functional and decorated Tent City. We've been installing the exhibition for the past two days, and its been very fun. Yesterday we set up most of the video projections and audio, and today we started on Tent City. Jeff Bradbury and John Taylor played a big part in the making of tent city, and it's looking legit enough that we might actualy try and sleep here for the night.

The Powel house has been open for tours as usual. I've been getting quite a kick out of the reactions people have when they enter this 18th century building expecting the guide to show them around a very austere, historic household only to be faced with the complete audio/visual onslaught that we've set up.

Wednesday's opening promises to be interesting, and if things continue to move along as well as they have since Sunday it's sure to be a success.
