Thanks to everyone who came out to the exhibition at the Powel house this past Wednesday. It was a smashing success! Big thanks to Jeff Bradbury, John Taylor, Robert Wuilfe, Shelley Langdale, Steve Powers, Zoe Strauss, Alex Baker, and everyone at PhilaGrafika (especially Caitlin and Rebeca), for all their help and support. A#1, I was greatly honored to be on that panel...thanks for asking me! I have said it before and I will say it again and again, Dan Murphy and Tony Smyrski are great and Megawords is one of the best things happening here. The show at the Powel house is best termed as "hot to death."
Now, I actually thought I kind of sucked at the panel. I felt pretty out of it and I know that I didn't articulate just how important I think the work of Dan and Tony is and how Megawords is part of a unstopable world wide take over.
The panel was great but, without a doubt, the best part was George Boudreau talking about Ben Franklin. It's kind of nuts, but I couldn't get enough of it.
I love Tony and Dan and I love Megawords.
